Our Teachers

All of our teachers are nationally registered Music Together® teachers. They are passionate about music and the development of children.

We strive to create a fun, informal, social setting that spurs engagement and supports each child's musical development.


Rosemary Halloran

Rosemary Halloran is the Director and primary teacher for Music Together Around the Towns. She started as a Music Together parent bringing her  children to class to learn a few non-classical children songs! Rosemary loved Music Together's  informal, playful philosophy and discovered that this type of 'play'  was she developed her own love of music.

Rosemary has  degrees in music from Smith College, SUNY Stony Brook, and has done postgraduate work at the Manhattan School of Music. Her formal musical concentration was in  operas, oratorios. She is a regular church soloist with a special interest in the works of J.S.Bach. (The Coffee Cantata anyone??!!)

Rosemary was awarded  Music Together Certification I status for outstanding teaching in 2003. This is her 10th year teaching Music Together! Rosemary lives in Andover with her 2 children, her patient husband, and 3 mischievous cats. And, as her students know, she is a strong advocate for eating a good breakfast!

Kasia Sokalla

Kasia Sokalla is an accomplished classical, jazz and gospel singer. She graduated from Berklee College of music and attended Boston University for Graduate work in music. Her Boston area credits include performances with the Kairos Vocal ensemble, Moodswings on the Northshore, and numerous musical theater productions. Her latest musical achievement has been singing to her two children at Music Together! You can check out her website at http://www.kasiamusic.com/. Lauren Sprague

We are so excited to have Lauren join us! A Connecticut native and Summa Cum Laude graduate of Boston University with a degree in Music: Vocal Performance, Lauren  Sprague has been teaching music and drama to students of all ages throughout the state for the last 10 years.  Lauren is a registered Music Together teacher, completing the training with cofounder Lili Levinowitz. In addition, Lauren spends a great deal of time on the stage.  She was seen as Jeanie in the Footlight Club’s production of “Hair”.  Last year, she portrayed Marian in The Music Man with the Palace Theatre in Manchester NH.  Praised for her dynamic stage presence and vibrant vocal tone, Ms. Sprague was  nominated for Best Actress in a Musical by the Eastern Massachusetts Community Theatre Association.  A sought after soprano soloist, Lauren was the soloist in performances of Schubert's Mass in G, Faure's REQUIEM, Haydn's Kleine Orgelmesse. In addition, the Savoyard Light Opera Company, the Lowell Opera Company, Longwood Opera, The Kairos Vocal Ensemble, Fiddlehead Theatre Company, Theatre 1, Pocket Full of Tales, Imaginary Beasts Theatre Company and JM Productions.   Lauren writes and directs musicals for children  She is the artistic director of Starshine Productions, a children’s theatre company, a cantor and the director of the youth choirs at Holy Family Parish in Concord MA, and the proud mommy of an energetic four year old

Mary Gould

Originally from Louisiana, Mary Rees Gould studied piano from age five into her college years and sang with the Loyola Chorale at Loyola University in New Orleans. She got involved with community theater in elementary school and has enjoyed being on stage ever since. Most recently, she has appeared with Andover Community Theater and the Colonial Chorus Players of Reading. She discovered Music Together when her daughters were young and is delighted to share the joy of music with many families. She and her family live, sing, dance and play in Andover

Lelsie Boloian

Leslie Boloian grew up surrounded by music, performing in musical theater in her school days and is a singer songwriter alongside her musician husband and her singing toddler.

Leslie was first introduced to Music Together as a parent who had searched far and wide for the right music class for her child. She chose Music Together and hasn’t been able to get enough of it since! "I am passionate about Music Together, as I have experienced first-hand how Music Together has enriched my daughter’s life. It is a part of our daily routine from the “Hello Song” every morning, to that special lullaby at night. It is a musical experience that our whole family carries with us where ever we go."

Leslie joins us with an extensive early childhood backround. She is a certified in Early education and Care by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and teaches part time at the KHCCC school. She studied music education and holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Developmental disabilities.
